Fried Peanut Butter And Banana Sandwich

Fried Peanut Butter And Banana Sandwich

(1 serving)    Printable Version
  • 1 small ripe banana - mashed
  • 2 slices white bread
  • 3 Tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
Lightly toast both slices of bread. Spread peanut butter on one slice and mashed banana on the other. Create a sandwhich.

Melt butter in a fry pan at medium-high heat.

Fry sandwich until golden brown on both sides. Cut diagonally and serve warm.

Elvis Presley's favorite! Turn the king's sandwich into a healthy family favorite by replacing the white bread with a whole grain bread. Fry the bread in a light coating of canola oil and avoid the butter.
