Introduced in 1904 The complete name of this cereal was Post Toasties Double-Crisp Corn Flakes. This cereal was described in a 1939 ad as "The Wake-Up Food... Tops in taste!... Low in Price!... Rich in Quick-Food Energy!" This cereal is also listed in our database as Post Toasties Corn Flakes. Often times, "Corn Flakes" was incredibly small on the box in relationship to the word "Toasties". Other times, "Corn Flakes" took top or equal billing. Company Description: Founded by C.W. Post, the company began in 1895 in Battle Creek, Michigan under the name Postum Cereals. Bring it back! There's no other cereal like it! It's the best cereal and it is recommended for diabetics! Help us stay healthy... I was devastated when I could no longer buy Post Toasties. I didn't know there was any other brand of corn flakes! I cannot get them in our area (NM) but read they had reintroduced them. Help!
