The slogan for this cereal was "Look Ma! I'm eating my oatmeal." A memorable TV commercial from 1991 for Oatmeal Raisin Crisp featured actors Jerry Mathers and Barbara Billingsley revisiting their roles as Beaver Cleaver and June Cleaver from the 50's & 60's TV series Leave It To Beaver. In the commercial, Jerry Mathers asks, "Gee Mom, what's this," when Barbara Billingsley sets a box of the cereal in front of him. "Oatmeal Raisin Crisp," replies Billingsley. "Awww... neat," Mathers fires back. "It's Oatmeal made just your way... crispy flakes with oatmeal and a touch of brown sugar." Mathers stirs a bowl of the cereal with a spoon, "Gobs of raisins and almonds... I love Oatmeal Raisin Crisp... Look Ma! I'm eating my oatmeal. Wait until I tell the guys." Billingsley looks at the middle aged Mathers and responds, "Maybe now, we should talk about finding you your own place." For more years than I remember, I have only eaten Oatmeal Raisin Crisp - I love the taste of Oat-based cereal, and it never gets soggy. It's the only cereal I will eat.
