I made this. It is very yummy. I think the juice in the apples give it enough liquid. We ate it with milk. I will try cream next time. Comment submitted: 4/20/2013 (#15727) From Brea Melba... I haven't tried this yet, but I think I will soon. The ingredients do sound yummy! But I believe that the apples will produce enough liquid when they warm. I make homemade applesauce... just peeled and cut apples in a saucepan on low heat for a few hours, with sugar as desired, but no need for any extra liquid because of the water content in the apples.
