![]() Peach Cobbler Oatmeal(4 servings) Printable Version
For oatmeal, bring milk, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg to a boil in medium saucepan; stir in oats. Return to a boil; reduce heat to medium. Cook 1 minute for quick oats, 5 minutes for old fashioned oats, stirring occasionally. Stir in peaches. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until peaches are heated through and most of liquid is absorbed, about 1 minute. Spoon oatmeal into four cereal bowls. Top with wheat germ mixture and yogurt. We had to force this breakfast down. Worst oatmeal I've had. Nutmeg was overpowering. Comment submitted: 7/31/2010 (#10988) From scifi-mama (Team Breakfast Member)
My kids really enjoyed this, so did I. I added a bit of milk at the end and left off the sour cream. Comment submitted: 12/29/2006 (#1066) You Might Also Like These Recipes:
