Banana Walnut Pancake Topping

  • 2 ripe bananas - sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons real butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Melt butter in a non-stick pan. Add bananas and cook on one side without stirring for 3 minutes (at medium heat.) Add cinnamon and brown sugar and stir once to coat.

Spoon banana mixture onto pancakes, waffles or over prepared oatmeal and top with chopped walnuts.

Makes the perfect topping for chocolate pancakes!

This was fantastic. I halved the recipe to make one big serving and it worked perfectly.
