I replaced the corn meal with oatmeal. My family consumed them all right away and was looking for more. Will double recipe.

I made this recipe with and without the cornmeal. The cornmeal left the texture gritty which we didn't prefer. Without the cornmeal, it was great. I didn't alter any of the ingredient amounts to make up for not having cornmeal. The taste and texture was great! Like French toast pancakes. Loved this and am planning on jarring it for gift this Xmas. Thanks!
