This spot has been a local favorite for several years but has started to slip in food quality lately. The menu is loaded with the usual assortment of breakfast and lunch favorites, but recently the meals have started arriving at the tables only warm, which is a result of inconsistent waitstaff service. This may be a reflection of the cook's attitude as well, because often the food seems sloppy and hastily prepared. Best to try this place on a slow weekday. The usual weekend after-church crowds will quickly fill up the small cramped tables, as there are no booths. When that happens, be prepared for a lengthy and uncomfortable wait for seating.
