Open only for weekend brunch. Pricey but totally worth it for a special occasion. The restaurant is located in a shabby-chic 19th century hotel on a quiet street lined with brownstones. If the weather is good, patio dining on the flower-filled terrace is a must. Skip the homemade doughnuts- they bring their own amazing homemade muffins and breads, freshly baked, to each table along with a ramekin of cultured butter. Amazing oysters and crab cakes, pecan waffles, salads and.....everything is good. Only the finest ingredients- my goat cheese, wild mushroom and English pea omlette is still one of the best things I have EVER eaten. If you are in the mood, the cocktails are sublime. Menu changes seasonally. Reservations in advance are required (were talking at least a week). When you really want to impress a foodie, take them here.
