If you have a hankering for a beignet, but you're not in New Orleans, you must consider brunch at Dee Felice Cafe. This restaurant is a classic jazz restaurant in the evenings, located in the heart of the Main Strasse of Covington, Kentucky. I recommend it highly for dinner, but it is also an undiscovered gem for brunch. They are only open on Sundays for brunch from 10:00-3:00. Almost all the dishes have a New Orleans flair, but this place does it very well. Start off with beignets and then get the creole omelet or the eggs benedict. If you don't want breakfasty foods, I HIGHLY recommend Ricardo's Ravioli. It's a spicy crawfish stuffed ravioli in a jalapeno cream sauce. Oh, it's bad for your heart, but IT IS DELICIOUS! The coffee here is out of this world and refilled constantly, with real cream-- not those little plastic containers. You'll spend a little more than traditional breakfast places, but it is so worth it!
