Amazing! At first, I thought it would be weird putting strawberry syrup but I tried it and it was REALLY good! Comment submitted: 7/24/2008 (#5956) From smoothie lover I think that some smoothie recipes should be made out of real fruit so the smoothies could actually be healthy. I made a couple susbstitutions to this recipe instead of 1/2 cup ice cubes I used 1/2 c frozen low fat strawberry yogurt. Strawberry syrup was replaced with 1/4 frozen sliced strawberries, peaches or whatever other fruit is in the freezer. 1/2 c soy, skim or regular milk was decreased to 1/4 and 1/4 plain or flavored yogurt added.
