If you find yourself in the Rochester area, venture out beyond the city and try Food at Fisher's Station. This family-owned restaurant serves some of the most delectable breakfasts in town. From the "meltaway" pancakes, to the frittata bursting with onions, peppers, sausage, and cheddar cheese, to the homemade bread and muffins, the food is both carefully executed and homey. The restaurant is small and seating is limited, but the wait and trip are worth it. See their website for more detail, including hours of operation. The family goes on a well-deserved vacation during the month of August, so plan your trip accordingly!
