The Jack Ranch Cafe is located 900 yards from where James Dean had his fatal accident. There is a memorial monument to James Dean in front of the cafe. There are photos of James Dean in the restaurant and memorabilia to purchase. The restaurant is in a vintage early 1900's building. The food is standard fare with a mexican twist - a good amount at a reasonable price. Their breakfast sausage is out of this world! I even considered buying a second helping! Next time you're on your way to Paso Robles from the Central Valley - check out this place!
