In the pm, this is a quality Mexican restaurant with a large menu. In the am, this large menu features breakfast - American, Americanized Mexican and traditional Mexican. The restaurant is huge so there's never a line. The portions are large and all of the ingredients in the dishes I have enjoyed were very fresh with on-site preparation of everything including salsa/Pico de Gallo. Chilaquiles, Mexican omelette, and the many other huevos dishes are all excellent. Other more traditional items including menudo (good for hangovers, I hear) are available. Coffee is good with usually frequent refills. And it is all started with complimentary chips and pico/salsa. Highly recommended when looking for a little something different for breakfast in Alameda.
