I tried Sero's for breakfast one morning when I was staying at nearby Auburn Hills. Feeling a little bit decedent, I ordered their Southern Omelette ($4.99) filled with ham, onions, green pepper, cheddar cheese and topped with sausage gravy. It wasn't the healthiest option, but it was certainly a delicious one. The gravy had a lot of sausage flavor and a nice pepper kick. I actually scrapped a little of of my omelette so I could better appreciate the other ingredients. The serving size was large and it included a side of hashed browns and a couple slices of Texas-style toast.

My lady traveling companion opted for the Steak, Onion and Cheese Omelette. I tried a couple bites and agreed with her that it was very good.

All in all, breakfast at Sero's was a good experience. They obviously know eggs. And the prices... being from L.A., where it's hard to get breakfast for two for under $30... I really appreciated getting a huge, quality omelet for under $5. The service was also very good. Our waitress checked on us at least every 15 minutes to make sure everything was alright.

My only advise to this restaurant would be to give the place a little character. It's a little sterile inside. A couple pictures on the wall and some flowers on the tables would raise this restaurant from very good to really great. Other than that, this is an excellent place to grab an omelette.
