I only chose "hipster" because you can come to see or be seen, but everyone from drag queens to family guys come here, and the generous breakfast selections are the reason. Brunch days (Saturday and Sunday), it's brisk and busy, but usually always a table awaits you. Lots of light, not too loud to enjoy conversation with your mealmates. Interesting methods: cafeteria-style line begins when you order your meal directly from the cooks... they start right before your eyes. You move along with your tray and utensils, order your drink, pay and find a table. A few magical minutes later, you use your good ear to listen for your name to be called, and -- voila! -- your steaming breakfast(s) are ready for you to carry to the table. If you need something cooked a little more, the cooks are always nice about taking care of you. Generous portions means you won't be starving three hours later. Parking isn't perfect, but there are spots available within a block of the place on the street.
