Tootie's Diner is a great stop on the way to beach or if you are just taking a Sunday drive in the country to catch some local color in Central NJ. It is a small diner, only about 8 booths and just as many counter seats -- so it fills up fast! It has been run by a husband & wife team, Harry & Tootie, for over 20 years. They provide a hearty breakfast at a very cheap price which will leave you filled up all day. Tootie, co-owner and waitress, greets all of her customers with exuberant friendliness -- making everyone feel as though you are her best customer, even if it is only your 1st visit. And if you are looking for a tasty treat...they have their own ice cream window for a refreshing dessert in the hot summer weather.
