It's another rainy day in Seattle and Mrs D had just gotten back from her 2 week excursion to visit her parents and our kids in the sun (really a timeout from me). She was anxious to enjoy a fine northwest sunday am breakfast...and Blue Star was on our hit list! So first off three things you need to know about this place, first it's huge, second the food is also huge and third when you're done you must check out Archie Mcphee's (old time/novelty shop) next door. Got there a little before 10 am we were seated immediately in the bar so I started with an excellant bloody mary, ordered the CBH made from scratch in house, Mrs D ordered the sweet pea omelette, everything was great including the unfinishable portion of seasoned red potatoes...Rocco the Yorkie(who was waiting in the car) thoroughly enjoyed his portion of CB and omelette! BTW service was good and I really like the ambiance here, kinda got that old time dark wood cafe feel to it...check it out.
