I pitched the excursion to Fishermans Terminal in Seattle, earlier in the week it went like this, "we (includes Rocco the aging Yorkie who usually has leftover ham steak for breakfast!) can ride over and have a nice breakfast and then the three of us can walk around and look at the boats...", she liked the idea, we where on! I don't know about you guys, but I like a view with my meal and there is nothing like a marina full of working fishing vessels to go with my eggs! The Bay Cafe is a smoothly running old school breakfast place, lots of coffee and large, predictable and consistent choices. At 8:30 am on Sunday morning we were promptly seated in a booth, Mrs D ordered eggs and bacon with a waffle (we shared it), after inquiring if the CBH was out of a can got a sausage patty, eggs over-easy, with extra crispy hash browns and sourdough toast. Food came quick and was really good... Rocco was expecting ham steak... the sausage and egg took him a while to eat, but we all had a delightful walk! Next time I'll try the CFS and gravy!
