Coconut Almond Crunch

The complete name of this cereal is Great Grains Coconut Almond Crunch and it's terrific. It consists of "sweet coconut... scoops of wholesome almonds... (and) crunchy flakes & clusters." This cereal has a huge amount of coconut flavor. The overall flavor profile reminded me of a coconut macaroon cookie.

It has just the right amount of sweetness. I did wish that there were a few more almond slices because the bites with both coconut and almond were the best bites.

The clusters provide a nice bonus. In my box, they were mostly broken up into smaller pieces. But once in while, you get a big one which gives a surprise crunch and a fun, familiar granola flavor. The flakes stay mildly crisp in milk for about 7 minutes.

I liked this cereal a lot. I can imagine a time in the future where the box would read "now with more almonds." That would blow me away. My recommendation: Try this one.
