Rum Maple Syrup

  • 2 cups pure maple syrup
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon Meyers Dark Rum
  • 1/8 teaspoon rum extract
Stir all ingredients together and serve with pancakes or waffles.

You can also serve this warm and it cooks out the tiny bit of alcohol that's in the rum. Just put the ingredients in a small sauce pan and place over medium heat for about 5 minutes - stirring occasionally.
