		Soak prunes in warm water over night.  Cook and cool.  Remove pits, fill cavity with almonds, and let drain for a few hours.  Make batter of remaining ingredients.2 pounds large prunes
1 pound blanched almonds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1/3 cup milk
 
 Dip prunes in batter and fry in deep fat.  Roll in powered sugar or granulated sugar mixed with nutmeg.
 
  
 Migdalowa means "Almond" in Polish and this is a recipe for almond-stuffed prunes. Lots of work, good every so often.
