Sour Cream Waffles

(4 servings)

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
Combine eggs, sour cream, butter and buttermilk. Beat until smooth. In another bowl combine flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Add to liquid mixture. Blend well and bake in waffle baker.

These easy-to-prepare waffles have a moist interior thanks to sour cream and a tangy, rich flavor thanks to buttermilk.
