Peanut Butter Waffles

(8 servings)

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup milk powder (1/3 cup instant)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 large eggs - beaten
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 and 1/4 cups water (or milk)
Stir together the flour, milk powder, salt, and baking powder.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, honey, vanilla, and peanut butter. Then mix in the water.

Add the liquid mixture to the dry and stir until the ingredients are smooth.

Bake on a hot, oiled waffle iron.

Variation For Peanut Butter Pancakes: Use the same recipe as above, but use only 3/4 cup water (or milk)


The great taste of peanut butter in a waffle. Top with jam for a PB&J Waffle. It's my kids' favorite.
