Tomato Gravy And Biscuits

(4 servings)

  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 16-ounce can of diced tomatos
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • buttermilk bisquits
Fry bacon until very crisp. Remove and drain. Crumble bacon into small pieces.

Add flour to bacon grease and cook about 1 min. to create a roux. Add tomatoes, milk, bacon, salt and pepper.

Serve warm over biscuits.


This is best if the biscuits are small and somewhat crisp instead of fluffy.
