Champurado with Tuyo

(2 servings)

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 1/2 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 4 dried sardines
  • 2 tablespoon of salt
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoon of cooking oil.
Dry the 4 sardines under the sun for 1 day then marinate it with 2 tablespoonful of salt for another day. Boil 2 cups of rice with 2 cups of water for 20 minutes then add 1/2 cup of cocoa powder and 1/2 cup of sugar and stir briskly. Fry the dried sardines to 2 tablespoon of cooking oil and serve the chocolate rice with it while hot.
