Brown Sugar Pecan Bacon

  • 1 pound thick sliced bacon
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup finely ground pecans
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

Place a sheet of tin foil on a cookie sheet, then place a rack on top of the sheet, and lay the bacon on the rack.

Combine sugar and pecans, then press on top of bacon, pressing lightly to adhere to the bacon.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes on the middle rack of the oven. Let bacon sit for 5 minutes before serving.

This is meat candy at its very finest! Bacon takes on a whole new life as it's dusted and baked with brown sugar and ground pecans.
