Hawaian Toast

(4 servings)

  • 4 slices of toast bread
  • 4 fresh pineapple slices
  • 4 ham slices
  • 4 slices of cheese like swiss cheese
  • Monterey Jack or Mozzarella. Big enough to cover the pineapple completely.
Toast the bread slices and butter lightly, cover each slice with a slice of ham, on top of that a slice of fresh pineapple and o top of that a slice of cheese.
Broil until cheese is completely melted.


Make sure that the ham is covering the bread completely, otherwise the juices of the pineapple will make the bread too soggy. I love it with fresh pineapple ( do not forget to cut off the skin and the middle) but I guess you could use canned too.
