Easy Pumpkin Latte
Mix equal parts (by volume) of espresso (or coffee), cream and pumpkin pie mix. Add cream, pie mix, and hazelnut syrup to a pot, and bring to a light boil. Add vanilla, stir, and pour into a cup. If desired, garnish with shaved chocolate.
- 4 tablespoons canned pumpkin pie mix (not pumpkin puree)
2 ounces cream or half and half
1/4 ounce unsweetened hazelnut syrup (found in the grocery's coffee section)
2 ounces espresso (or very strong coffee)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
I always make 2 servings, because I usually end up wanting more! Look for pumpkin pie mix to go on sale right after the holidays. Stock up and you'll be set for awesome lattes all year long.
