Olivia's Sweet Wheat

(2 servings)

  • 1/3 cup Cream Of Wheat hot cereal granules
  • 1 and 1/3 cups water
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • milk - about 1/4 cup cinnamon - to taste
  • nutmeg (optional)
Bring water to a boil. Slowly, add in Cream of Wheat - stirring often with a whisk. Allow mixture to return to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered until you get a thick and cream consistency. Stir in the brown sugar.

Transfer to 2 bowls. Top each serving with a generous splash of milk. Finish with a dash of cinnamon or nut meg (or both).

Serve and enjoy.
