Holy Cow Breakfast Sandwiches

(1 serving)

  • 1 sliced sausage (hot or mild)
  • 4 Bacon Strips
  • Deli Ham Slice or two or three
  • 2 Eggs fried
  • Sliced Onion
  • Sliced Tomatoes
  • Lettuce Leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Sliced Cheese of your choice
  • 2 Texas Toast slices
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Sweet Onion Sauce recipe below
Put 4 slices of bacon in frying pan in low heat and prepare two large slices of sausages adding onion powder and garlic powder together to make large patties then place in pan with bacon to fry.

Prepare lettuce and tomatoes slices and ham. When sausages are near done, add cheese slices to top and let melt a little.

Toast Texas toast and add sausage and bacon. Put eggs in pan to get fried, then add to top of meat, add slices of onion and tomatoes andlettuce and season to taste and add sweet onion sauce and enjoy.


Sweet Onion Sauce

- pinch cracked black pepper
- pinch garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp poppy seeds
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp buttermilk powder
- 2 tsp white distilled vinegar
- 1 tbsp minced white onion
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup

Combine all ingredients in a small microwave safe bowl. Heat mixture uncovered in the microwave for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes on HIGH until mixture boils rapidly. Whisk well, cover and cool. Makes about 2/3 cup.
