Frankfurter Scrambled Eggs

(1 serving)

  • 1 frankfurter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons milk
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
Cut 1 frankfurter into penny slices.

Break eggs into a bowl. Add milk and beat with a fork.

Add frankfurter slices to eggs and beat with a fork.

Melt the butter in a fry pan over medium heat. Tilt the pan so that the pan is covered with melted butter. Lower the heat.

Pour in the eggs. Cook slowly, turning the eggs with a spatula as the eggs start to set at the bottom of the pan. Eggs should not be moist or shiny looking.

Turn off heat and serve eggs on a plate. Add salt and pepper.

This is from the chapter titled "How To Cook Eggs" in Buffy's Cookbook. As the book says, "Have fun and learn to cook at the same time. Make it a real 'Family Affair' in your kitchen."
