Cranberry Banana Smoothy

(2 servings)

  • 1/4 cup of fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries or raspberries (or combination)
  • 1 medium banana
  • 3/4 cup of milk (soy milk works well)
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 2 or 3 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in your blender and pulse until smooth.

For best results, freeze the cranberries before making. It's also a good idea to sample a cranberry. If super tart, increase the honey by a teaspoon.

For an even smoother smoothie replace 1/4 cup of the milk with plain or vanilla yogurt.
