Easy Peach Crisp with Cereal Topping

(6 servings)

  • 4 cups sliced peeled peaches (about 5 large)
  • 2 Tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 Tablespoons cold butter - cubed
  • 1 cup Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal - lightly crushed
PREHEAT oven to 375 degrees F. Toss peaches with 2 Tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon in large bowl. Spoon into 8-inch square baking dish.

MIX 1/2 cup sugar and the flour in large bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; stir in cereal. Sprinkle evenly over peaches.

BAKE 30 to 35 minutes or until peaches are tender. Serve warm.

Lightly sweetened peaches with a touch of cinnamon is the star of this dish. The secret ingredient is crushed Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal.
