Au Gratin Hash Browns
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 1 2-pound package of frozen hash brown potatoes (thawed)
1 16-ounce container of sour cream
1 can condensed cream of potato soup
1/4 cup milk
1 jar of Cheez Whiz
In a very large bowl, combine the potatoes, sour cream, soup and milk. Heat the Cheez Whiz in the microwave just enough so it's pourable (15 or 20 seconds). Stir into the other ingredients.
Place mixture in a lightly-greased large shallow baking dish.
Bake for 60 minutes or until golden brown and edges are crispy.
Let it set at least 15 minutes before serving or it will seem to soupy when you scoop out servings.
Kinda trashy, I know. But combines my two favorite flavors... Cheez Wiz and hash browns.
