Granola Grabin Scones

(16 servings)

		- 2 cups all-purpose flour
 -
1 cup honey/almond/coconut granola
 -
1 cup chocolate mini chocolate chips
 -
3/4 cup chopped walnuts**
 -
1/2 cup sugar
 -
3/4 cup milk or french vanilla creamer
 -
1 large egg - lightly beaten
 -
8 tbs. cold margarine (1 stick) cut into pieces
 -
1 tbs baking powder
 -
1 tbs. cinnamon
 -
1 tbs. vanilla
 -
1/4 tsp. salt
 -
powdered sugar - for dusting scones

		Preheat oven to 375 degrees

WASH YOUR HANDS. USING GLOVES DOES NOT WORK, YA GOTTA USE YOUR HANDS. SO TAKE YOUR BIG RINGS OFF.

Coat a cookie sheet with a non stick spray.

USE WALNUT HALVES, AND CHOP THEM YOURSELF, I HAVE FOUND TO MANY SHELLS IN BUYING PRE-CHOPPED NUTS. SAME WITH USING PECANS. IT SAVES FROM HAVING TO PAY SOMEONES DENTAL BILL FOR A BROKEN TOOTH OR TEETH!

In a large bowl, with your HANDS mix together flour, granola, chocolate chips, walnuts, sugar, baking powder, salt & cinnamon. Once mixed, cut in butter/margarine with your HANDS! Until crumbly.

In a smaller bowl, mix egg, milk, vanilla and add all at once to dry mixture. Use a meat fork or spoon to mix... If mix is to dry, add another small egg, or some more creamer or milk. **hazelnut creamer works really well also... tastes awesome.

Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.

Bake around 12-15 min. depending on your oven. Remove from oven and cool 5 minutes.

Dust with powdered sugar.

**These don't get brown on top, well not in my oven they don't. IF you let them get brown or light brown, you will have OVER cooked them & they will be dry.** they are moist inside. Try tapping them on top before removing from oven, they should be firm not mushy.

Looks like a big cookie, but heavy like a scone! and can be microwaved a day or two later, and are just like they came right from the oven.
