Cereal boxes were more interesting in the 1930s. The Force boxes made a Theatre stage. Each box had the necessary pillars, the theatre orchestra, the ‘backcloth’. There was no cutting out, the entire box was used for stability. I made a full stage, with orchestra, fitted it with lights, and gave ‘shows’ to my friends. This in the late ‘thirties’ when I was still in the ‘primary’ and ‘junior’ schools. Sadly,like it’s bigger relative, the bombing in war ended all performances.

At this point they are wandering store shelves like the undead. It is inhumane! Please General Mills put them out of their misery!!

Thewy really truly did ruin it. The “health nut moms” have won. Take out all the sugar and ruin the texture, they should have just let these cereals die with dignity.

Unfortunately these days the only thing interesting about these cereals is the cardboard box they come in. In fact, the box tastes better than the cereal. General Mills really ruined the taste.
