Chocolate Syrup (For Crepes)

(1 serving)    Printable Version
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • dash of salt
Combine cocoa, sugar, salt and water in a saucepan. Cook over medium-low for five to seven minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

Store in refrigerator.

For crepes, top with whipped cream and then drizzle on syrup.

You Can Also Use Syrup To Make Chocolate Milk

Use 2 Tablespoons to 1 cup milk for homemade chocolate milk.



Chocolate Syrup (For Crepes)



May be put into a squeeze bottle for many applications. Use on crepes or pancakes, in drinks, in oatmeal or even on ice cream.

Good - very basic - love it. Can use rum or bourbon or a liqueur in place of vanilla. :-) Depending on the occasion.
