Dissolve yeast in warm orange juice and let sit for 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and stir well for several minutes. Let batter rest covered, in a warm spot for 30 minutes. Heat waffle iron, pour in the appropriate amount of batter for your specific model, and spread to the edges of the waffle iron. Close and cook until gently browned. Have a great breakfast!!! The orange flavor is a little overwhelming. Next time I would use 1/2 the orange juice and 1/2 of the grated orange rind, increase milk by 1/2 cup and maybe add a tablespoon of honey. Good but not super great. Comment submitted: 6/9/2010 (#10654) You Might Also Like These Recipes:
