Delicious Citrus Bites

  • 2 oranges or 4 Mandarins
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • about 1/4 cup beer
  • powdered sugar
  • olive oil
Peal oranges and remove all the seeds. Join flour, eggs, sugar, salt and milk together - mix well. Warm up the beer to room temperature and mix beer into it. Keep adding more flour until you will get a thick creamy mixture. Warm up the pan with oil. DIP pieces of oranges in the creamy mixture until fully damped and fry both sides until golden color. Once fried sprinkle with powdered sugar.


Serve hot with juice. This meal is so good that it is addictive. Have a delicious refreshing breakfast. -W. Zgodowski

LOL. Beer looses alcohol and it changes taste once it is cooked. It's only added for the taste... what is wrong with you people. That's simple 2nd grade science :o)

Haha, since I don't drink, I will live MUCH longer than you, so, HA. take that. anyway, gross recipe, won't ever eat it, Not a good way to start or finish ANY day... HA.

Oh give it a rest, Mango. MOST alcohol cooks out when used in heated/baked/fried recipes. Even that portion which doesn't, shouldn't be an issue for those who don't have problem with booze. I sure hope you've never baked anything your family with vanilla extract because if you ever have, you're off the wagon, tooty-fruity, and you sauced up your family.

This is NOT a good family recipe. It has alchohol in it! I don't drink and I never will. To people who drink: STOP!!!
