Spray cookie sheet with vegetable spray. Thaw frozen dinner rolls according to package directions. (Actually, these turn out best if you start working with the rolls as soon as thawed, but not yet doubled in bulk.) Tuck one smokie into each roll and pinch-seal inside. Lay seam-side down on cookie sheet. Spray very lightly with vegetable oil spray over the top of all rolls. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes. (ovens may vary, so bake accordingly).


We loved these baked goodies when we lived in Houston, Tx and had not found any since we moved. I came up with this version when the cravings would not subside. I take these to work for potlucks and morning meetings and they disappear almost as fast as I put them out! Great for a snack on the go too.
