Easy Crab Spread for Bagels

Easy Crab Spread for Bagels

(12 servings)    Printable Version
  • 12 bagels
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese (softened)
  • 6 and 1/2 ounces of lump crab meat (or 1 can drained)
  • 1 tablespoon of Tabasco
  • 1 teaspoon of prepared horseradish
  • snipped chives or parsley
Toast bagels lightly under the broiler until golden brown.

While the bagels are toasting, stir together the cream cheese, chili sauce, and horseradish in a suitably sized mixing bowl until thoroughly combined. Stir in the crab meat.

Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and garnish with snipped chives or parsley.

Serve the spread with the toasted bagels.

For the bagels, try onion or sesame bagels to make this extra good. Although, plain bagels work just fine.

An easy brunch favorite: Creamy, fresh crab spread with a hint of Tabasco and horseradish served over lightly toasted bagels.
