Simple Buttery Scrambled Eggs

Simple Buttery Scrambled Eggs

(2 servings)    Printable Version
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 Tablespoons butter (no margarine please)
  • pinch of salt
  • fresh ground pepper to taste (I prefer more than enough)
Put eggs in bowl and with whisk or fork beat eggs well until even yellow color. Add milk and beat until well blended. Add salt and ground pepper. In frying pan over medium high heat melt butter. Add eggs and let set for about 30 seconds or until they start to set. Fold over as if making an omelet with spatula and then chop up eggs until almost (almost being key word) all liquid in eggs is set and then pull off heat. They will finish cooking on their own. Put on plate, add more salt and pepper to taste if desired and enjoy.

This recipe makes 1 large serving (that's what I do) or 2 normal servings for people more sensible than I am.
