Bennett's Famous French Toast

Bennett's Famous French Toast

(4 servings)    Printable Version
  • French bread (quantity depends on how many people you are making for)
  • white eggs (quantity depends as well)
  • dairy milk
  • cinnamon
  • powdered sugar (optional)
  • grill/pan
  • a bowl for the dipping of the bread
First, you crack how ever many eggs you need for your serving into a bowl, then you mix and put a tiny amount of milk into the batch of eggs to flavor and make the batch less sticky, next, you take a piece of French bread, and dip it in the mixed egg.

Keep doing so until you've reached the amount you need for your serving. Put the dipped bread onto the grill/pan and let cook until golden brown on both sides or until cooked enough for eating.

You may also add some cinnamon to the top when done before you provide the syrup. And don't forget the famous powdered sugar (optional). Enjoy!

This is an amazing recipe and when it's all said and done you'll be glad you tried this great meal. Hope you enjoy! And don't forget to add the cinnamon and powdered sugar! It is optional but I recommend! Thanks and hope you love it!

Superior French Toast is made with day old homemade bread. If using store bought French bread, allow the slices to dry out a bit.

While it's nice to know that you have to cook different amounts for different people, some sort of rough estimate of how much per person would be good.
