Canadian Flapjacks

Note: To make these Canadian Flapjacks truly Canadian, consider using an apple variety that's native to Canada like a McIntosh, Cortland, Ambrosia or Spartan apple.

These pancakes have grated apple and optional apple juice for a fast, fruity and fun breakfast.

This is now a staple at our house. A very flexible and yummy recipe. Good with butter, jam, or just about anything really. The grated apple gives it a great texture.

I used milk and grated apple. I thought if I used apple juice that it would be too much apple flavor. This way turned out great.
