Strawberry-Banana Cornocopia

Strawberry-Banana Cornocopia

(2 servings)    Printable Version
  • 1 banana (quartered)
  • 4 frozen strawberries (remember to take off the leaves and stem)
  • 2 cups of vanilla soy milk (regular will probably work as well)
First, simply dump the quartered banana into the blender, along with the four strawberries. Pour in the two cups of soy milk and put the lid on the blender.

Wait about a minute or so as the blender works itself on 'Liquify'. Put in an extra strawberry to bob around on the level of the drink, pop in a straw, pour some for you and a friend and then head out full of energy!

- Jessica Violet, age twelve.

The strawberries don't really need to be in the freezer too long - even fifteen minutes to a half hour should do and it tastes delicious!
