![]() Orange Walnut French Toast (Baked)(4 servings) Printable Version
Place bread in a single layer in large, flat baking dish. Pour egg mixture over bread. Turn each slice of bread one time to absorb the egg mixture. Refrigerate overnight (at least 5 hours). To cook: Preheat oven to 375. Generously butter the bottom of a jellyroll pan. Arrange soaked bread slices in a single layer in pan. Sprinkle over the top with walnuts. Bake until golden, about 20 minutes. Sprinkle fresh grated orange peal on top. Great with a pat of butter and maple syrup. Or shhh... a scoop of icecream.
