![]() Ham Waffles(4 servings) Printable Version
Sift flour once, measure, add baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar, and sift once more. In a sepearate bowl, combine egg yolks, milk, and butter. Add this mixture to the flour mixture and beat until smooth. Fold in egg whites. Bake on a hot waffle iron. Sprinkle 1/4 cup ham over batter of each waffle just before closing iron. Makes four 4-section waffles. Serve with soft scrambled eggs on each waffle for the perfect effect. Mr Breakfast would like to thank DeeJay for this recipe. Recipe number 1369. Submitted 10/5/2004.
