The Egg Platter is a great place - almost like a second home. The service is great most of the time, and there is always a lot of food for low prices. (Just don't look at the cook).
The waitresses are friendly and know what their regular customers want as soon as they walk in.
No-one ever has to worry about being under-dressed at this place.

used to be a nice place to eat. now, avoid at all costs:
1) lousy waitresses complain loudly about one another and their personal lives constantly in fron of all the customers. this is when they are not talking/texting on their cell phones ignoring you, that is. also, do drugs on your own time, not on mine, gals.
2) homeless mascot ronnie, allowed to hang around, loudly demand free food, piss on men's room floor, and threaten PAYING CUSTOMERS!
3) order what YOU want how YOU want it, you're getting it whatever way THEY make it anyway! a million laffs!
4) mold ridden, filthy joint, just an iota cleaner than your favorite inner city bus station.

rumor is, may 07 is the end. there'll be a cvs there instead. where will ronnie piss?????

Although it looked dilapedated outside,It had plenty of space inside.Hostess was curtious,Waitress friendly and helpfull.Service was good,and accomidating. They had booths as well as tables which seat two to four people. The food was excellant,delivery was a little slow but well worth the wait. Everything I ordered came the way I like it. The coffee was hot and delicious. The prices are about average,but they give good helpings of everything.

I not only worked at all 4 egg platters, I ate there 4 nights a week! I watched a show on dirty dining, and the egg platter was wrongly targeted! John (the owner) strides to keep a clean, healthy environment! I am ashamed at dirty dining! Egg Platter is priced reasonably for you to take your entire family, and enjoy every bite! Jo Jo

One of my favorite late night/early morning spots to grab a bite. Very much a greasy spoon. Serve quickly, waitresses always good for some conversation. Cheap pretty good food!
