I find it hard to believe that no one had reviewed Cherie Inn as it is one of the best breakfast options in GR. The setting is a funky old building sandwiched between Lake and Cherry. There are several small rooms. The waiting room is an art gallery. Expect a long wait on weekends, but this is a place to linger over, so chill and enjoy. The owner/maƮtre d' conducts the busy place like a symphony conductor. They are most famous for their eggs Benedict of many varieties. There is always an interesting special or two, and the sausage bake is a novel meat option (sort of a sausage meat loaf, sliced and fried). Can't decide between the cranberry walnut French toast with honey butter or the granola blueberry pancakes? Well you will just have to come back. We do over and over. And finally, you can get fresh squeezed grapefruit juice!!!!
